Making the Complex Simple
Explainer Video on Airline Catering Management Technology
eGate was the business unit responsible for technology solutions for airline catering and retail management at gategroup, the leading global airline catering, retail onboard, and equipment solutions provider with the largest global network in the aviation industry. It was a complex backend system that while powerful, it was difficult to communicate the depth of its features and functionality to a target audience used to manual not automated processes. The brief ~2-minute animated video successfully illustrates the benefits of the solution in an easily digestible format. This was used across the sales force, a main feature on the company’s website, and at key events including the World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo and International Flight Services Assoc.
Capturing the Moment of Change
Vision Video to Capture the Emotion of World Energy’s Next Gen Business
Worked with World Energy’s CEO to develop a video for the rebrand that captured his vision for the future of his company. He asked to have his son do the voice-over and while he was not a professional voice-over actor, we worked with him in the studio to get a top-quality recording.. This was part of our launch campaign that included a rebrand teaser, office rebrand, digitalization of the company’s full geographical footprint for internal comms, and a press release and media event that generated 20+ pieces of original coverage.

World Energy secured the critical permits needed to fully convert its Paramount facility into a 100 percent renewable fuels production site. The former asphalt refinery would never produce fossil-fuel-based products again and the permits marked a key milestone in the transformation of the site from a dirty old refinery into the world’s most advanced clean energy production site. This was big news indeed and the CEO was determined to issue the news and host the supporting event on Earth Day.
With an operation in Southern California, a state and region especially focused on investing in the world’s climate future, the date brought its challenges from a government and media relations perspective. Our small team worked together to line up a stellar speaking roster with local, state, and federal representation while garnering 20+ pieces of the original coverage. Realizing that we may not be able to get the media onsite (the Governor was christening a wild animal crossing across town at the same time) we created this long 👆 and short 👇 even recap as well as a video news release to help garner local broadcast coverage.
